ABOUT ME

We are a couple, DeAnn and Nate
DeAnn is a performance poet/musician/massage therapist and a pisces.
Nate is a chef/poet and a cancer.

PHILOSOPHY

We both believe that everybody has a purpose in life and have made it our missions to find ours based on what feels right and happy, and the "universe" will take care of the rest.
We believe in getting out of it what you put into it; fair is fair.
We are not violent and do not want to make anybody uncomfortable.
We are 420 friendly but it's cool if you're not, we don't have to smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are very new to the community but want the rest of the country to understand through experience that travelers can be trustworthy, dependable and good people and as soon as we have a home, we will be registered as hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have stayed at one hosts home in Lincoln, NE with another traveler friend of ours, Lauren Begent. The host's name was Maggie and she was so friendly and accomadating, we totally had a great experience.

Indie, Blugrass, Jazz, Rock, Electronica, Acoustic, Folk, Punk... (really, we pretty much love all music)

As far as movies go we like documentaries, comedies and movies that really make you think.

And we like way too many books to list and would much rather talk about that in person!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

DeAnn has been on a Poetry Slam team and competed on a national level.

Nate has traveled through Colombia, South America and it was beautiful :)

We are totally down to learn any trade really! We are all about learning new things and are very hands on people and will try most things at least twice!
