About Me

Big Wide World Ready to Be Explored But I'm Stuck Here

Very easy going and laid back. I like trying new experiences and visiting different regions. I've lived mostly in the Midwest and now live in the Northeast. I try to be an excellent and accommodating host and guest.

I'm not religious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't done much with CS. I'd like to be a bigger contributor but I haven't had any requests and I've been too busy to travel.

Some but all very positive

Mostly stuff outdoors. To name a few: kayaking, whitewater rafting, snowboarding, rockclimbing, hiking, camping, bicycling (road and mtn), riding my motorcycle, outdoor festivals, picnicking, hanging out at the beach, paintball, and volunteering.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Mononoke Hime, Nausicaa, Love Actually, Definitely Maybe
Music: Bill Withers, Gorillaz, Hall and Oates, various Bossa Nova, and lately jazz rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like trying new places and doing new things. Some of my favorites places include: the Chicago Botanical Garden, any beach with sand and clean water, Museum campuses, any whitewater river, pretty much any park or forest, hole-in-the-wall restaurants and jazz bars.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in outdoor adventures and hopefully I can show you what these adventures might be. It could be climbing, paintball, biking around, or even just hanging out at the beach. I could definitely use help learning new languages and how to cook better ... at least my incoherent sentences won't kill you.
