I'm a young artist - actress and performer. I live partly in Germany (Berlin) , partly in Latvia and travel in between.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my first longer trip I tried out couchsurfing and now it is hard to imagine a trip without it, because it gives you a totally different perspective -not being just a "tourist", but having the possibilty to look to to the place with eyes of locals. They create a special atmosphere, which gives a personal touch to everything what you can experience (and you can experience much more!!) , for me as an artist it is very important.
Also hosting someone is a great breaking of daily routine. Once I hosted 2 guys-backpackers, who were accidently stucked in the airport for the New Year. We celebrated together with my friends and it was an amazing party and unforgettable memories!

Interests

I am an actress by profession, though when I was already studying I realized that it is important for me to express my own creative ideas. I started to look in to art and production. I would describe myself as a young artist currently focusing on visual image and body-based performance, cultural-anthropological research and experimental theatre. I love to sing, I play piano and ukulele (beginner).
I'm not super sporty, but in my free time jogg and sometimes go to yoga, I also try to ride a bycicle as much as possible. I really enjoy long walks and hiking. I'm a nature lower :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Always difficulties to describe my favourite kind of music, but basically it is - everything!! Depends on my mood (what a cliche :D ).
I like that other people introduce me to musik, what they like and tell me their stories, memories connected to this music.I find it interesting and it makes me feel closer to them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done a lot of amazing things, but the most amazing thing is to go abroad, fall in love with the place, people, make friends and then when leaving - realise, that you have left a part of your heart there :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some voice opening technics, methods how to open up yourself emotionally with particular acting trainings.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In general I just like to talk with people and listen to their (any kind of!) stories. It doesn't obligatory have to be anything special. Going for a drink and chat - the simple pleasures of life. People inspire me. Spending time together with someone who you meet for the first time is always a great opportunity - no past, no future, just the time here and now, what we have together! It's a gratest thing we can share! And of course all the cultural, philosopical, literal, musical, technical, food, emotional, psychological, relationship, travel and so on and so on KNOWLEDGE!
