ABOUT ME

I love to think and explore. I alternate between deciding that life is about listening very closely, and being precisely who I'd like to be each moment.

PHILOSOPHY

I work for a limitless future. I think that the world is socially constructed and that doesn't give us a duty, so much as the pleasure of making the world as it is.

I think everything has a past. I like to explore that past and how it shapes the present, and play with signs and symbols.

I like contexts and situations, paradigms and metaphors, freedom and justice.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Grand Puba says in a song "the way I give back is through the knowledge of my raps"
I want to be a cultural producer. I see myself writing texts about issues that I think are relevant, and helping to create discussions about those issues.
I have done some environmental volunteering in the past, and am looking forward to doing more in the future, but I have had to work to put myself through school, and so haven't found as much time as I'd like to invest in my communities in other ways.
I like to think that I work for justice and understanding in my daily life, and that I am a agent for positive change in society.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience yet! I'm anxious to learn, meet people, share experiences and make beautiful music.

Intereses

I am interested in expanding the ways I can understand the world.

l love to cook. All kinds of food from all over. I think cooking is an art, not a science, and love to experiment with new dishes. Anything that you can cook that starts with oil in a pan is a fun time for me.

I also love to grill, but don't have one.

I love to tinker with computers, but I'm not keen on most games. I love art and music, and feel like they're everywhere.

I dabble in photography, music (I'm learning the harmonica), and literature, but am a master of none of them.

I used to read comic books, build with LEGO blocks and read Hard Science Fiction.

Música, películas y libros

I like hip-hop and electronic music, but also enjoy pop, the blues, bluegrass and soul music. I'm not too big on sad indie rock, but can definitely get down with the punk side of things. If you can dance to it, I'm down.
I like magazines, literature, and art. I am an avid consumer of web art, and love almost all kinds of media.

I love movies, and have seen many.
