Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I've used couchsurfing in Europe and had amazing experiences with it. Using this platform gives me a much more personal connection to the places I visit, as opposed to when I stay in a hostel or Air bnb. Hoping to continue making connections around the world! Whether the connection comes in the form of a place to stay, a friend to hang out with, or simply someone to ask questions to- I'm searching for them all!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Folk and alternative music. I grew up in a very musical household, with a grandmother and aunt who were/are piano teachers, a dad and uncle who are both professional musicians, and music lessons through my childhood. Music is a huge part of my life and I would love to connect with other surfers through music!

Crime books (John Grisham!!), historical fiction, currently attempting the Game of Thrones series. Favourite childhood series- Harry Potter. Favourite novel- The Bell Jar.

I'm probably one of the only people who knows nothing of the Marvel and/or DC universes. My favourite movies are probably The Sound of Music (I visited some of the spots this movie was filmed in Austria) and Love Actually (who doesn't love a Christmas movie set in the English countryside).

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

As a former summer camp staff member, I got to lead a four week canoe trip through the back lakes of northwestern Ontario, Canada. Along with another tripper, I led 6 teenaged girls through long paddling stretches and portages, navigating with a trusty map and compass.
