ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty simple girl. I enjoy the little things in life, and love to laugh. But, my sense of humour isn't for everyone, either. I enjoy vulger stand-up comedy, as well as British humour, and well, people who trip and fall...honestly, they make me laugh too. BUT I am also that person that's making sure they're alright and helping them up, even though I'm laughing.

I care deeply about other people and animals.

I've lived in West Texas my whole life, and never really felt at home. I still live there to this day, hoping to one day have a good paying job to get me somewhere else. I'd love to travel, but being a student makes it difficult. So, I'll stick to hosting for now, so at least I get to meet the awesome people around the world.

I live with my boyfriend of 3 years, and our 2 dogs, Sydnee and Jet. We live in a little two bedroom apartment in the desert.

I don't do much, mostly work, watch some TV, read, I'll go out every once in awhile. I love concerts, and I love photography. I'm in to just about any type of music, with Country being on the lower end, and rock being near the top.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe to truly live your life you need to take opportunities. I believe something as simple as a rainbow can brighten a day, or recieving a "thank you". I enjoy laughing and finding happiness in a bad situation. There's no point living life always angry or upset. Finding what makes you happy is what is truly important to stick to in life.

Interests

Photography. Good food/different food. Dog training. Helping animals. Helping people. RAIN! Skiing. Bike riding. Horseback riding (though I don't own a horse). Reading. Movies. Learning new things about different cultures. Traveling. Oceans. Hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, the list of movies could be great in length. Just to have an idea, though:
Monty Python & the Holy Grail. Anything with Cary Grant in it, particularly Arsenic and Old Lace. Clerks (I & II). Dogma. Chasing Amy. Donnie Darko. American Psycho. Mohullond Drive....and I could go on and on, but I won't.

I enjoy murder-mystery books, the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evonavich (hilarious!), James Patterson books. I loved The Great Gatsby. And, of course, the Harry Potter series. I enjoyed the Hobbit, but could never get into the Lord of the Rings (but loved the movies).

And music, as I put in my description about myself, I love just about everything. And I'm serious about that, I've found few things I don't like. I particularly enjoy the Rock genre, but I like hip-hop, rap, and some country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I go to a camp in the summer that is for kid with Muscular Dystrophy. I'm a counselor. Those kids are my inspiration, they are amazing in every way, they've made my life immensly different than it was before. That is the one truly amazing thing I've seen in my life.
