I was born in Frankfurt/M in August 1953 and Tom in Manchester, NH USA in May 1955. I immigrated to the US in 1986 and met Tom in 1995 in Killeen, TX. Tom spent some time in Japan, Germany and different parts of the US and I lived for a few years in Colorado Springs, CO before we moved together to New Hampshire. We/I have 5 children. 4 are in the US and the oldest is in Kassel, Germany. The youngest is now 36. We also have 7 grandchildren. We love cats and dogs .
In May 2014 we left the US to live once again in Germany. We don't know yet if it is forever or if we might check out another country....for now, we gave up our home in the US and live happily on a campground on the island of Fehmarn in the Baltic Sea.
Fast forward....we moved back to NH in 2016 and live since March 2019 in Hampton, VA.
Fast forward again! As of December 1. 2021 we live full time in our 30' Class A motorhome and have circled the US in different ways about three times and spend the winters in Oak Hill, FL.
Life is good!

I like to read. Mostly non fiction. Tom is not a big reader, but he likes crime stories and once a book captures him he reads it to the end.
Music of all genres are welcome but I'm a bit sensitive to heavy metal and we both tolerate rap/hiphop only in small dosages....Tom likes Electro, Jazz, Dubstep, and Classic Rock.
Tom likes to watch movies and TV shows (again, mostly crime, scifi) I rarely watch TV. I select movies mostly from the drama, comedy, family, adventure or action department. I can't stand gore and guts....

The most amazing thing we have done was to break up our long established household in the US and start over as minimalists in Germany and realize that life is just as happy without all the "stuff" we used to think we needed.
