Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally joined couchsurfing for the reason I'm sure many people do, to save money, but I have found an amazing community full of thoughtful and adventurous people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While finishing a ten hour hike up a volcano on the border of Rwanda, Uganda, and the DRC, a group of mountain gorillas came close enough to the trail that I paid a silverback a visit as he drifted to sleep and the rain and sun came down for the night.
