我做过的一件不可思议的事情

On a mountain hike near the summit I sat to watch the sun come up. The world around me began to wake up, a flock of humming birds lifted from one tree and landed in another across a ravine. They were so small that at first I thought them bugs, but then realized what I was seeing. As I sat very still soaking it all in, I felt my hat dip ever so slightly and a second later a humming bird flew from the perch it had taken upon my hat. I felt infinitely humbled that such an elegant creature chose to share that beautiful moment. The sun, a bright crimson ball, crept above the distant mountain range.
