My name is Dai and I am from Vietnam. I am an international student in Australia. I will be staying in Australia for my university, I would love to make the most out of my time here as much as possible. I unfortunately do not have a cough to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is the very first time I have ventured out of Vietnam. In Melbourne, I met some of the friendliest and loveliest of people and we became friends for life. The experience is unforgettable and will forever stay in my heart. I know time flies thus I would like to make the most out of the time while I am here. So the best way I think I know how is to Couchsurf and get to know more people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a pretty wide range of favourite music from classical to retro, pop to rap. I love a bit of everything. I enjoy things such as opera and orchestra just as much as everything else. Disney OSTs are also my jam.

My favourite movie genre would be comedy or romance: 50 first dates, Ace Ventura, Moulin Rouge... It is kinda cheesy but what can I say: I think laughter is the blood of life and I am a hopeless romantic.

I have read some books and I find myself coming back to the classic folklore books, mythical books and fantasies such as the Grimms' Fairy Tale, Greek Mythology, Silmarillion, Alice in Wonderland, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have not done much amazing things. I AM doing an amazing thing which is writing up my fantasies into realities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with them about Vietnamese Culture, Folklores, Fairy Tales. I've picked up trivial fun interesting facts here any there, bits and pieces from what I read and watched which I think the hosts would love to hear about.

I'm also a bit of a foodie, I love to bake and cook, I can bake a pretty mean brownie for the hosts.
