ABOUT ME

Still young and not very well travelled in the slightest, i'm hoping to begin to change this during my degree. I'm currently studying graphic design illustration at central st martins and trying to live as creatively as posssible. I'm vegetarian but will eat roadkill or any meat that would go to waste!

PHILOSOPHY

My new years resolution for 2012 was to take more opportunities and i have now decided it's time to seek more! I want to see the world, learn, learn, learn and meet new and interesting people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to host more people and have a travel about myself over the summer! I love to meet new people, have guests for dinner, and stay up late sharing stories, getting inspired and making memories!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I finally surfed for the first time, i have to admit i was slightly apprehensive, especially as i was alone, but it was amazing. I met some great people and had some unforgettable experiences. I really have fallen in love with this website!

Interests

Designing and making things (clothing, pop-up books, origami, short films, animations, etc), impulsive tattoos, fashion, cat-cuddling, photography, writing long letters, dancing badly, baking... Have also just started to skateboard, if anyone can teach me any rad tricks (i'm not very good yet!) that'd be amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ghost World, It's a Wonderful Life, Harold and Maude, The Big Lebowski, Life Is Beautiful, The Bell Jar, Trainspotting, Catcher In The Rye... lots of classics when it comes to film and books. Music-wise i love anything from hiphop, bad pop (and the good stuff too), dance, techno, dnb, break core, blues...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not very amazing, but a little insane at the time. I swam in the North sea on christmas day and turned blue. Once i swapped myspace addresses with Johnny Marr.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy knitting, crocheting, altering and making clothing, origami, book binding among other things. Chances are if i stay with you you'll get to sample some of my baking as well, i'm currently working on the perfect cinnamon and ginger cookie recipe. I'll also teach you to make 2 minute chocolate mug cake! If you've got kids and need a break i'm a childminder/ babysitter by trade and would be more than willing to do some art with them!
