ABOUT ME

i am an easy going down to earth gal and very casual - which may explain the lack of capitalization. i tend to have fun in everything i do, and you may even be able to catch me singing and grooving to songs anywhere at anytime. i get along with almost anyone. just be cool, that's all i ask. i think you should try everything at least once cause you might actually like it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've gone to several meetups in both boston and places i've traveled. and i have also surfed some couches. it is an amazing experience to be welcomed into someone's home. i enjoy learning about cultures around the world and remain friends with my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've surfed in argentina, singapore, indonesia, malaysia, colombia, and the united states. i've also been introduced to the local couchsurfing events by my hosts in these places. i attend the meetups in boston when i am there and time allows. it is such a great concept.

to kill a mockingbird is my most favorite book ever. other good reads - catcher in the rye, the glass castle, into the wild, lovely bones, the kite runner, wild...

the music i dig is anything i can dance to really. or sing along with. which... doesn't really narrow it down at all.

snorkeling the great barrier reef was pretty darn awesome. there have been others but that's the first thing that comes to mind.

iguazu falls was simply stunning. easily one of the most beautiful places i've been to in my life.

what can i teach?? hmmm... well i can easily say the alphabet backwards. i suppose i could teach that. and i'm a very beginner at juggling. And I can teach English. :)

learn ... i would so love to learn a new language. :) spanish is coming along... slowly but surely.

share... i'd like to share any and all travel stories in exchange for any or all of your travel stories. all travelers inspire me. also, i'd like to share that i like that people read profiles before sending couch requests. so that i know that you read my profile, please incorporate the word gorilla in your request.
