I love solo traveling and have started to transition from my marathon backpacking ways to a more tranquil way of traveling. I still love backpacking but I'm trying to plan trips around a base and or a few bases. I've couchsurfed all over the world and enjoy meeting fellow travelers. The people, food and culture of each place is what's important to me, not instagram :)

Philosophy:
Be an active participant in your own life, don't accept things as they are, challenge. Challenge the rules, power, hate, ignorance and yourself. Find what way you can make the world a better place and do it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have had a super time surfing this great country of ours! I have met some awesome people and got to see parts of the country I never would have if not for CS.
I've also surfed India, Turkey, Western Europe and East Africa and had a blast.

Done: Bungee jumping, skydiving, repelled into cave, skysurfed, climbed a limestone spire in Guilin. Seen: Great Wall, Glacier National Park, Terracotta Warriors, climbed Huangshan mountains, took a nap at the Taj Mahal, prayed for my life in a tuk tuk.

I worked as a personal and business financial adviser for over eight years, needless to say I can't do a financial plan on the road but could give some investment or goal planning tips. I'm a perpetual student and have many degrees in varying fields. I guess you could say I'm a jack of all trades.
