About Me

ABOUT ME

Professional software engineer, amateur wino.
Outgoing, athletic, and easily excited by nerdy things!

Currently I work for an amazing company writing awesome software.
Eventually I will start my own tech company- I love what I do and the potential to take ownership of an idea and running with it is super exciting.

I love butchering new languages, and tripping over my words.

My father is from the South of France, and I've been lucky enough to travel extensively in Europe and to spend a fair amount of time with relatives around Aix en Provence when I was younger.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep improving yourself, and make your mark on the world!
But don't forget to enjoy yourself, have fun, make connections, and take time to appreciate the small things in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to host, and am looking forward to meeting more couch surfers and getting involved in local events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I haven't couch-surfed using couchsurfing.org, I've definitely crashed on friends' couches during travels all throughout California, in Providence, NYC, Houston, and Boulder before moving here... and had a great time doing it!

Interests

I love working out/training MMA and brazilian jiujitsu, hanging out with good friends, hosting dinner and cocktail parties, cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and having new experiences in general.
MMA and jiujitsu keep me in shape, and the occasional black eye makes for a great conversation starter.

I also love taking on fun technological projects in my free time... The home-made arcade machine in my condo is actually the result of one such project, so it's a productive pass-time!

Figure skating used to be a big passion of mine, but now it's an occasional hobby that I indulge in when I get nostalgic.

I'm always out meeting new people - making new friends is always a good time... especially when craft beer or well made cocktails are involved!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to compete in the figure skating nationals at the olympic arena in Lake Placid NY - that place has so much character.
