About Me

I am a friendly, outgoing, and active individual who wants to get the most out of life and their experiences. I have one more year of college and am in this constant realm of trying to figure out who I am. To me, that means going out of my comfort zone and trying/seeing new things.
I like to think that I am quite wise for my age, but I know that there is way more wisdom to be had and shown.
I also really love animals. I am a super vegetarian (I don't shame people who are not) that has an undying love for beans and guacamole.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I am planning a trip across the United States for the summer. I am looking for people that would be willing to let me and my boyfriend stay in their backyard, on their floor, or on their couch for a night during this journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favorite type of music. I am into the majority of music genres, I am just a little picky about country.
My top five movie choices are The Outsiders, The Breakfast Club, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Dirty Dancing, and Almost Famous.
I am a sucker for anything Ellen Hopkins (Crank, Burned, Tricks, Traffick, etc.) But I also enjoy books like Tweak, Dakota Days, Exit Here and Before I Go To Sleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhh, this is a hard question. I would have to say one of the most impactful things I have ever done was mentor youth in care of DCYF or in foster homes. I have been lucky enough to run workshops about financial stability and self care for the past three years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My boyfriend and I could share great conversation and a zest for life with all of the hosts we come in contact with. We both are kind and interested in the lives of the people we will get to meet on this journey. I also can share my love for awful puns. (Only if they're into it, of course)
