ABOUT ME

I am a recent college graduate. I majored in International Politics and History and had the opportunity to travel to many amazing places during my four years. I hope to continue traveling as much as possible. In August, I head down to the Dominican Republic to spend at least a year as a history teacher at a bilingual school in Santo Domingo.

I am a genuine person who likes to learn new things and explore. I am a little on the shy side in big groups, but I like meeting people one-on-one and am pretty open once I get to know someone.

I am pretty new to Couch Surfing, but I am very excited to get involved. I love traveling and hope to meet lots of new friends.

Interests

I am very interested in meeting people from all over the world and I love learning languages. I like sports, but mostly playing them as opposed to watching them. I am always up for a pick-up game of almost any sport(I would love to learn cricket!). I like museums - especially history and art museums. I especially enjoy nature and think that one of the best parts of traveling is getting out to see the countryside. Cities are great too though and I am always up for a night on the town.

Learning how to surf in Portugal was one of the coolest things I have ever done.
