ABOUT ME

I'm a mother of two amazing boys who continually teach me to love life and love myself as much as they adore me. I recently graduated from college for the first time and was so proud to show my sons the importance of finishing what you start. I'm passionate about learning other cultures and languages.

PHILOSOPHY

i have two sons that i'm raising alone so my personal philosophy is to show them a blueprint of how to live happy and healthy and to teach them the importance of education and valuing human life. so far so good; they are amazing kids who like to eat their vegetables (imagine that)

I'm also a loving, left-leaning feminist and a proud member of the LGBT community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed with someone in Montreal and the experience was beyond my expectations. I knew this was a really special thing but had no idea of the depth of it. I'm inspired to not only do more couchsurfing but to become an even better human being. I've also hosted a few folks and all the experiences were really great

Interests

i'm extremely interested in philanthropy. it's my dream to have lots of money and spend all day finding meaningful ways to give it away. i also enter sweepstakes as a hobby and have won some fabulous trips. so basically i can just say that i'm interested in LIFE and experiencing everything i can before it's time for me to leave.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love books, movies, all kinds of music...my first love is hip hop, but i also love R&B, jazz, rock, latin, soca...anything that connects to my soul and moves me. since i am in school, i don't get to read as much for pleasure as i would like but when i do, i usually read fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a contestant on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Weirdly, i'm glad i did not win a million dollars.
