My name is Damaris and I am from Brazil. I live in Ireland for now and I have also lived in the US for a year and a half. I am an English teacher but in the past years I have been working with kids. I still teach English for a private student here in Dublin. I am very social and friendly. Everybody that knows me says that I am very easygoing. I love being outdoors, hiking, camping and being in contact with nature. At the same time, I like staying home and relaxing. I love going out with my friends. My favorite thing to do with them is to sit in pub and drink beer and talk. I enjoy dancing a lot and I just love Brazilian music. Another thing I love doing is to stay home, cook, drink and have people over. I am very open minded but I also know how to respect other people's ideas and way of living. Having lived with a host family and with people from different nationalities here in Dublin gave me that. I am organized and as weird as it seems I enjoy cleaning the house. I just put music, dance, sing and that is relaxing for me. I love traveling and having contact with different nationalities. Living abroad gave me so many friends from all over the world and I learned so much!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am on Couchsurfing because the from best trips I've done, most of them I was with a local. Nothing beats being in a place with a local. That is the best way of really absorbing the culture, going to the best places and having a great time. I would love to have people over here but I don't live alone and I have to respect my flatmates decisions. But when I have my own house in Brazil I will for sure be open for couchsurfing. I think that is an amazing experience!
