ABOUT ME

Hi everyone !

I'm a kind of person who likes to help people and to make new experiences. I love hiking (especially mountain hiking), bike, skiing, visiting all the places I can visit,taking pictures of everything, learning things. I'm very curious, and I like to understand how things work so that I can repair them by myself.
I love cooking and making experiences with food (I think I was a chief in another life).

I'm very calm, and I don't like to be in a hurry if there is not a good reason for it.

PHILOSOPHY

"Live your life with this thought: "I don't accept to die thinking that I didn't have the courage to do what I wanted to. I don't want to die with the appalling thought that I've been had by the society. That the society has been stronger than me, that it made your dreams falling apart". You can't die with this horrible feeling that your fears have been stronger than your dreams and that you didn't do what you would like to. You have to learn to dare."

I keep reading that and even if it's not always easy I hope I will do my best to follow this.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived 2 years in the wonderful city of Chambery in a residence with only erasmus students and it was awesoooome !!!

It was my very first contact with foreign people and I really loved that. I met people from Brazil, Peru, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Korea, Japan, USA... and they are now very good friends and I miss them so much. Every evening we met in the kitchen to discuss, share culture, cook, laugh, play guitar, help them with french homeworks...

With the CS project I would like to live again this kind of experience. Sharing a part of my life and learn about the life of others.

Yes a couple time in Canada and in the US during my trip to cross the country

I love cinema.
Movies : Minority report, Avatar, Lady in the Water, The Sixth Sense, Lord of the ring (the first), Star Wars, The others, Mary and Max, Memento, Cloverfield, Silent Hill, Chihiro, Tim Burton's movies. The last really good movie I saw was "Source Code", a very good surprise.

Music: I love orchestral musics from movies or video games.
Miyazaki, James Newton Howard, Yasunori Mitsuda, Cocoon, Alanis Morissette and others but I can't remember.
The last one I found out : Nadeah

Books : I don't read a lot but there is one book I'll always remember : His dark materials, just wonderful.
Les thanatonautes, Harry Potter...

... Last year I passed a week end in the mountain and tried to sleep in an igloo (that I built).

My french maybe, I like to help people to learn french. They often think they piss me off with all their questions but they're wrong.
I can cook but I'm not sure I could learn it. Cooking is like creating, I don't really know what I'm doing when I'm cooking.
If you have problem with internet, computer, phone, tv or whatever maybe I can help.

As for me I'd love you to teach me some exotic recipes from everywhere in the world (I love Japanese and Chinese food but I don't really know how to make good dishes).
You can learn me whatever you think it worth to me to know ( chemestry, construction, gardening...)

I'd love to participe to an "incredible edible" event
