To be less dependent and consumer-minded....rather, more productive and self-sufficient.

To help introduce others to the natural world, so they can better understand the natural systems around us, and how to best tap into them, so that we can have a more positive impact on this world.

ABOUT ME

I run an Outdoor Education and Adventure company based out of Yosemite National park. I also teach a number of workshops in the field of practical skills. Anything from Wilderness Survival to Permaculture and Sustainable Ag.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped a philanthropic project in Rurrenabaque, Bolivia, which is located in the Bolivian Amazon basin. Immediately followed by flying over the Andes and hiking the Inca trail from Oyentaytambo to Macchu Picchu.

Seeing the difference between the lush snow-fed jungles that are recharged by the Andes snowpack and the Amazonic watershed....to the arid Bolivian and Peruvian highlands, was quite a sight to see from the air. Truly amazing to see how the natural system in this world work and interact together.
