Overview
About Me
Hello everybody, I am Damiano, originally from Catania, Sicily. I speak Italian, English, Spanish, and I can understand Portuguese and French. I am an online teacher since five years, but I have also tried other mental and physical jobs.
In my free time, I really enjoy practicing sports of all kinds — I love movement. That’s also why I like to go dancing. I am into music and movies.
Moreover, I am truly in love with nature. I enjoy trekking and hiking, and in those places I find myself. That’s where I usually write my poems and stories.
I feel the same about the sea: I really enjoy swimming, which I always do in summer.
Basically, I am in love with life and everything it has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and for this reason I am here, guesting people whenever I can and trying to be guested. I think that's a really good way how to learn about other cultures, by other stories. Consequentially, different points of view.

Music, Movies, and Books
That's always changing. Let's explore together :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled all around Tunisia relying only on hitchhiking. I didn’t plan my itinerary in advance — instead, I decided day by day, depending on the rides people offered me. Every lift became a new direction, a new story, and a new way to discover the country.
It was an incredible experience that allowed me to meet locals, explore places I didn’t even know existed, and feel the real spirit of adventure.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am vegetarian and I am a good chef, so if you want to try good vegetarian meal we can prepare something together. We can share vibes and stories and you need or want, also the silence. I love to listen new points of views, always ready :)
