My name is Damiano, I'm 33 years old with Italian origins but I feel like my place isn't just this one. I live most part of my life in a small town called La Spezia, located on the border between Liguria (my region) and perhaps the most famous Tuscany.

In high school I "studied" English, but let's say that every daily conversation I have had taught me more than that (and not only about languages). I have always been attract by foreign languages and still am I today while I'm trying to learn French through various apps.

I do not have the goal of travelling all over the world, I just wish to find other places around the globe where I can feel myself home and being an active citizen.

Since few years ago, due to a few life experiences, I have started to think about how can I make less impact on the environment on daily basic. I'm trying really hard step by step to get more conscious about what's going around the world and not only in front of the tip of my nose. I do not consider myself an eco-warrior but surely I have been changing lots of habits from food to transports methods. I'm vegan 🌱 and surely I won't cook you a normal bolognese ragù (more likely my soy one).

Please keep in mind I do not host people for just ONE night. Since I'm working seasonally I would like to share my place with people interested in my area and not just having a place where to sleep for a night.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the genuine hospitality of italians. Obviously I would love to cook something together. There is no such thing as cooking which connects people, it's surely my love language.
