About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Don't know if I have a mission. But I know when you have been travelling with a backpack for a while sometimes it is nice to have somewhere to relax and not have to worry about your passport or your pack. I think I provide a place like that plus it's off

ABOUT ME

I am a Farmer along the Wimmera river in the west of Victoria. I have previously lived and studied in Melbourne. During that time I hosted quite a few couch surfers. I have travelled around Australia and overseas a fair bit myself. I would be happy host fellow travellers and show them around and just kick back and exchange a few travelling stories over a beer. If you are doing the Adelaide to Melbourne drive I am about halfway and good place to stop to break up the long drive.

PHILOSOPHY

Try not to stress about the things that are out of your control

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got into cs through a friend while I was uni and along with my house mates hosted a few back packers over a couple of years. Now I live in a nice farm house in the country near the Grampians. I am happy to offer a room and a bed and show any couch surfers that want to see some of the Australian country side.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosting couch surfers for a few years now and have also camped on a couple of couches overseas.

Interests

Travelling and meeting people from other cultures would have to be right up there.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Taking the train in India , eating out with a few local Greek farmers , trying to samba during carnival or just walking the endless white beaches os south Western Australia

Teach, Learn, Share

Halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide and right next to the Grampians. Also I live on a fully operational farm. Comfy and secure place to sleep and always able to help my guests out with any problems or queries. Can take cs ers into the Grampians to some of the better less known walks, show them around the farm, to a local pub or wineries. Whatever they want.

Countries I've Visited

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Monaco, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I've Lived In
