See the world before the "real world" catches up with me
Born in California, raised in the Midwest, studied journalism and global studies (emphasis on African politics) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Minored in Japanese and Spanish, so I'm hoping to put that knowledge to use! Travel blogger in training (meaning I'm just starting!). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things (thus why I travel a lot). I've spent time in Canada, France, Spain, Costa Rica, Japan, and South Korea. Looking to broaden my horizons with a year-long "Eat Pray Love"-style trek across the world. Starting in Ireland, then off to Greece, Spain, South Africa, back to South Korea and Japan, then home in the US.
"Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not sure what it means when it says "how I participate."
I spent a couple nights in Tokyo with a new friend I made through the site. Everything worked out well!
Traveling, reading, writing, having intellectual conversations (or tipsy conversations that seem to be philosophical at the time), enjoying a nice martini, and spending too much time on the Internet procrastinating

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
