ABOUT ME

Hey everyone!!

I grew up on Long Island, about twenty minutes from New York City. In 2009, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in filmmaking at Loyola Marymount University. I've been on a honeymoon with California ever since :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Yes, and..."
Inspired from the Upright Citizens Brigade comedy troupe, "Yes, and..." is typically a line used to remind performers not to "deny" anything on stage, but rather accept all information and build on it. I like to apply this simple philosophy to my life - by saying yes, we open ourselves to limitless possibilities. Even though there are plenty of times when I'd rather say no thanks, I try and force myself to constantly try new things!

Spirituality is a major part of my life. I don't belong to any religious denomination, but I have a higher power as I understand it, and I try to remain humble everyday by accepting that the only things I can control are my attitude and my actions, and sometimes I even need to ask for help with those!

I cannot WAIT to make enough money in Los Angeles that I can have a place that comfortably houses some couch surfers :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a bit in 2011 while shooting my documentary. Was a tremendous experience!
