I believe that there is more good in the world then the media shows us. My goal in life is seek out and find this good and the people who produce it. As an Anthropologist I love to learn about other cultures, languages and people. I aspire to be a life enthusiast, global citizen and friend to others. While living in the Marshall Islands from 2012 to 2014 I fell in love with the people and their islands. This experience changed my life and led me to believe that world travel promotes world peace. The more we understand each other as human beings the more accepting we become of our differences. My wife and I are finishing up our schooling at Southern Utah University. When we are not going to school we like to go on fun hiking adventures with our dog, "Apache." We are love to make new friends and showcase the beauty of Utah.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that traveling promotes world peace. Real, genuine traveling, like when you stay with locals and partake in their culture and lives. Couch surfing allows people to do this. I hope to use Couchsurfing as a means to meet new people and gain new friends. While traveling and learning more about the world.

I love most music, movies and books. My favorite type of music is Indie/Alternative. But I love all genres of rock from the classics to pop-punk.

Contacts. I think our greatest ability to help others in our day and age is to network. I would love to share some of my connections with my different hosts. Hopefully this will help them find a couch to surf on later in life. Other than that I do have a fun personality and love to go on adventures.
