ABOUT ME

Big changes in my life over the past year. I had decided to travel the world for 18 months starting in March of this year. Instead I got married and will be having my first child in August!! I am very excited. I married a wonderful like minded women and we are planning our travels already. In the spring we will be going to Spain for a week with our new baby. Then in January of 2011 we are headed for a month touring the Med. We will be in Italy, Turkey, Egypt and Malta, before flying home (we will be on our own that trip.) We decided that travel as a family and as a couple will remain near the forefront of our lives. We know and want our child to learn that the world can be a wonderful place if you give it a chance, respect others and do all things with the betterment of all in mind.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has the right to their own beliefs, no matter how opposing their views may be to mine. People don't have to agree, as long as they respect each others views. But, there is no place for hate in your views, disrespect for others, or bigotry. No view is so correct that you can not tolerate others and allow them their right to believe as they will, especially mine.

Remember: The views that are the most important to allow are the ones that are the furthest from your own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing at the edge of the desert in Morocco. You will never feel more humble than you do at the edge of the desert.

Diving with sharks in Cozumel. It feels like you are in another world when you emerge from a coral cave to see dozens of sharks swimming above you. You realize you are a visitor in their world.

Teach, Learn, Share

To learn anything and everything I can about people, the truth. Its too easy to assume and judge. We often listen without really hearing what someone is saying.

Share my real opinions and experiences. Share whatever we have with whoever needs it. And if someone learns something from that even better.
