ABOUT ME

Hello everyone!!I've just discovered this amazing community and I really wanna be part of it so,let me introduce myself a little bit.
My great passion is,of course,travelling and catch up with new people from all over the world.First of all,I really enjoy listening my new friends,to know a bit of their life and travelling experiences and I could do it for hours,especially in front of a cold beer!!
Having friends around the globe and keep in touch with them is something great for me and it's awesome going travelling and drop in to say hello to a friend seen maybe long time before.Rely on someone who can show you around a place and give you some good advices during the trip....that's why I've also decided to join couchsurfing!!

I have to say I'm probably not a typical italian.First of all,I DO NOT LIKE SOCCER,which is pretty much unusual for italian guys and I really hate watching sport news on tv when full of it...unfortunately it does happen pretty much all the times!!So,forget about coming to visit me at my place and spend hours on the couch watching football matches,because you've got it wrong!!!I might make an exception when the world cup is on...I said,I might!!!
Things get definitely better if we talk about motorbike races,especially when my idol Valentino Rossi is on the scene,even though I don't have a motorbike and I've never practiced that kind of sport.

I love swimming,better if it's done in calm and warm waters,but my lovely lake Como or a swimming pool are not bad at all!!
I did some good sailing and got my nautical licence in the past,but I recently moved to windsurfing,because it's definitely cheaper and I can do it any time I feel it with no need to ask someone's else boat and also find a crew.I'd like to try kitesurf as well!!
I love walking and hiking,but no running,even because I'm never in a hurry!!

I'm an easygoing person,I don't get mad following all that stuff to be in fashion and I don't like to appear.
I'm not too fussy about the way of living and I adapt myself pretty well to any kind of situation.
I'm happy all the times and I must have some very serious problems to be in a bad mood...life is something great,sweet and I don't wanna spend my time being angry with people or with myself...I just want to enjoy it!!I consider myself extremely lucky,because I've always had the best from my life,thanks also to my family and friends to whom I'm very grateful.

I'd like to live in a place where weather is always warm and the sun shines for most of the time during the year.I'm kind of "island style" person,I do love islands,especially the tropical ones and that's why I've recently travelled around the Pacific area to discover few of that small dots you can see on a map of the world...small little peace of paradise that lie many,many miles away from the crazy and busy mainlands...that's life!!!
However,I have to say Italy is a very nice country and I'm proud to be italian.I love travelling,but it's also great coming back all the times,because home is always home and to see again family and friends and tell them about all the beautiful places I've seen,all the nice people I've met and to recharge the batteries to get ready to hit the road again.....and who knows where I'm going next and where I'll live the rest of my life,but just one thing...don't stop me now,I'm having such a good time!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Being happy with myself and with the people whom surround me and this could be done in many different ways,depending on the period of my life.
There have been so many changing in my life over the last 3 years that I'd say I'm quite changed,but I like my new lifestyle and I'll do everything to carry on this way,no matter what other people think about it and how they judge me.

Music, Movies, and Books

My IPod explodes with many different kind of music.Amongst my favourite artists there are Bob Marley,Zucchero,Pink Floyd,Santana,Shakira,Manà and many many others.

I'm not a tv or cinema addicted,but I sometimes enjoy to watch a good movie.Amongst my favourite:Motorcycle Diaries,Blood Diamonds,Life is Beautiful,Back to The Future,Spanglish.I also like tv series from the 80's and earlier like Happy Days,Colombo,Magnum PI,A-Team,Hardcastle & McCormick,The Robinsons and many more.I do appreciate documentaries,travelling programme and talk shows.

I often read in english rather than italian,because it does help to improve the language and I also enjoy it.Travelling narratives and autobiography are amongst my favourites.
