Im Dan, I've lived in Illinois for most of my life, Im a very avid hiker and love exploring new places and meeting new people. I've traveled to Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Mexico and a few states in the US. Unfortunately I did not know of this app and this I had, I would have had better experience for sure. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing thanks to a few wonderful hikers I met on Hawaiis stair way to heaven. One person was from Germany, another from Spain, and the last from Virginia! I thought it was amazing how this group of strangers found each other and decided to travel together for a short while. I would love to meet and experience more moments like this in my life and what better way then with the app that started it all!

Hosts are amazing! to have the trust and courage, to let stranger and travelers into their homes, its very inspiring, I can probably learn more from a person like that then they can from me.
