I'm from Sheffield, UK. I studied as an Engineer and worked as a Design Engineer for 9 years, travelling as much as possible when time was available, before deciding to set off on a full time trip through multiple parts of the world i've never been to before.

I love food, music, travelling and learning about anything. I like to get a feel of a new place, that i've never been to before, by meeting the locals and seeing their culture from their point of view, rather than the way it is described in travel guides.

I speak english and have a very basic understanding of Spanish, which I am always trying to improve. I always like to meet new people and see new places.

My favourite place in the world is... Barcelona!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply, I love to meet new people. Myself and my Wife are setting off on a year-long trip through multiple countries and continents, we would love to meet the locals, try new foods, see a different way of life to what we know and experience places like a local.
