Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a relatively inexperienced traveler. I've seen a lot of the UK but not branched out much further until now.

I'll be travelling alone this summer and the main thing I'm looking forward to the most is meeting new people. I'll be stopping mainly in Hostels but couchsurfing seems to be the best way to meet locals and learn more about where I'm staying. I think I'm naturally a bit of a loner and don't always find it easy meeting new people. Part of this trip for me is to force myself to make friends with new people and couchsurfing seems perfect for doing so.

Interests

Music. I listen to a lot. I've played guitar for as long as I can remember. I write and record my own music at home. I've always been creative and like doing things with my hands. I'm half decent at drawing and have a digital art degree.

I really like nature and animals. I always feel more at home in some woods in the middle of nowhere than in the heart of a city.
