Overview
About Me
I am a gentleman and a scholar, a leaf on the wind since falling from my tree. I am sometimes shy, sometimes social, and always exploring. Right now I am trying to ski my way up the Rockies letting serendipity have its way with me, looking for gainful employment or the next big thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Walked away from GF and our business, now on skibattical looking for work and new happenings. Gas is cheap, I'm out driving across the west cause I can. Hotels are impersonal, and this could be a great way to meet friendly folk.

Music, Movies, and Books
Apocalyptica is one of my favorite bands to introduce people to, not that all of them like it. Imitation game is the best movie i've seen all year. Books, there are so many, Ishmael for the uninitiated, Outliers and other freakanomics for good non-fiction recently, sci fi for different worlds...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ridden pow deeper than my head on a snowboard I made.
Teach, Learn, Share
The mathematics of everyday life is not linear, it is a succession of iterated algorithms, be they genetic or memetic, that can take us to new places we have never seen or thought of before.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Fix computer problems, knowledge of fine wine and cannabis, a ski tour, cooking skills, peace and love.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Virgin Islands, U.S.
