Hey! I'm Dan. I'm new to this, so be gentle haha. I'm 25, quite immature and a bit abstract. There's not too much to say about me really. I just want to have fun and be awesome with awesome people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The group I'm travelling with has already left for the island. Resorts aren't really my thing, so I though I'd stay back on the mainland and see if I can find any awesome people out there that can show me their towns. I'll only be around for a couple of days before heading to the island myself though.

Interests

4wding + Travelling (mostly driving, I don't much like tour groups). Design and Architecture. Animals - dogs, horses, reptiles, that kind of stuff. Land Rovers - I'm a Land Rover tragic!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC

I have a weird selection of music ranging from Bowie through to Adele. Think about what was playing on the radio a year ago and there's a good chance I've got it in my Spotify list. Its atrocious, believe me.

BOOKS

Classics. Shakespeare through to Poe. I'm not so much into the newer stuff. I've never read Harry Potter, and I never knew there were Star Wars novels. Who knew!!!

MOVIES

I'm a James Bond tragic. Outside of that, a bit of horror, drama, British comedy... tbh I'm more into TV. If anyone out there has the new episodes of The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Ash vs. Evil Dead and Gilmore Girls (shh, don't tell anyone about that one, OK? haha), then I'll veg out on the couch and binge watch them with you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This trip is pretty amazing. I MAY have bought the wrong vehicle though. Driving an ancient Defender without aircon is not as fun as I thought it would be. Your state is too damn hot! I'm surviving though.
The trip I'm on now is from pretty much from the bottom of Victoria to Fraser Island. Its pretty awesome! I'm already planning on another one.

I could teach you how to fix a Land Rover. If you have one, I'm pretty sure you already know how to fix it though :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

First round of drinks at the pub? No? Hmm, maybe I could get you hooked on a few great TV shows. Oh! Beers on the beach! My old girl should be able to take us down to the waters edge. You'll have to help dig her out if she gets stuck though.
