Hello, my name is Dan. I am nice, quiet, and easy going, so people tend to feel comfortable around me. I like all sorts of things, and though most of them are in my head, I like all sorts of people as well :P I'm very liberal and peaceful. Though introverted I'm not particularly shy, and I like conversations about life and about the small things. My profession is in computers, but I am also a salsa instructor, a photographer, and a teacher.

Note: I regret that I do not host myself as my living arrangements are barely big enough for me, and I'm quite a small person :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see and photograph the world! But in all of my trips, my most memorable experiences were meeting other people, understanding their views on life, hearing their jokes and telling mine, and connecting even if for a short while.

Movies: I love everything by the Cohen brothers. Music: The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd. Books: mostly science fiction and fantasy such as Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, Ender, The Assassin's Apprentice, but also Haruki Murakami.
