Hey! I'm Dan and currently working in Germany as an English Language Teacher in a bank. I teach students from Eastern Europe and South America, which is a fantastic way to get to learn about their countries. This is no replacement, however, for actually going there to visit them for real! I'm definitely a traveller, an outdoorsy critter and and all round explorer. When not travelling around, I'll probably be seen driving about in my '55 Minor (the one in the pic)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing in order to meet locals with a similar outlook on life. Travelling to a new place is great but actually experiencing it is what counts, and that can only truly be achieved with the help of people from there who are enthusiastic enough to share their lives.
