Currently living in Aix-en-Provence studying mechanical engineering at Arts et Métiers.
I love to get lost in nature, but also to explore new cities and towns. I spent the last summer travelling throughout europe, taking the odd job here and there. Most recently was a camp counsellor in Myhove, southwest Ukraine. This wonderful country felt like home to me for a month, and I'm keen to visit again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy both deep and frivolous conversations, but I am definitely on couchsurfing to meet new people, whether that is on my travels, or they are the weary traveller that falls down on my doorstep. I definitely want to see more of the world, and who knows what friendships I can make along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Little bit of everything; some of my favourite acts are: Roxette, The Mountain Goats, Frank Turner, Glasvegas, John Holt, Grateful Dead, Aer, Eminem. My music taste is very varied : I`m always interested to see what spotify spits out in the discover weekly playlists because the algorithms can`t work out what I`m into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've slept underneath the stars on a peak in the french alps. There is nothing to compare with the peace of that situation, not even multiple frights from wild birds flying low over-head could disturb the serenity.
Other fun trips I have done include a bike trip through northern France and Cornwall, sleeping in a hammock at night.
Recently I have been to eastern europe, and have taken a trip by bus, train, and car through four and a half different countries (more on that later) in a week and a half.

Teach, Learn, Share

I`m a native english speaker - so don`t be shy to practice with me . I`m trying to learn russian and spanish at the moment, and I sound like a baby trying his first words. So trust me when I say that a beginner level in a language is all the more reason to try speaking it.

I`m eager to learn local recipes and traditions wherever I go. And if you have something quirky that you learnt on your travels, like a card game, a hand shake, or a new toast for drinking, I`m game.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A sense of humour - i love to laugh, people call me childish at times. Bonus if we come from different cultures or naturally disagree on a lot of things, because i find this provides more to laugh about.
