Hi guys,

I am Dan Wu and I prefer to be called Aasta. I am a 29 year old Chinese girl who is studying Master of Social Work in Australia. I am a big fan of travelling as I am keen to experiencing different cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. I have travelled around China, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia, where I found the most valuable experience is the kindness from strangers and the uncertainty and surprise in the journey.

I like have deep conversation with people who have similar mindset, exploring fields of psychology, Zen, philosophy and astrology. I am also crazy about outdoor activities, such as hiking and cycling. I am an existentialist who believes life is a journey of BECOMING instead of BEING. I look forward to more adventure in the future.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I had HelpX experience in Tasmania, living in a farm taking care of Alpaca and pony. I had most amazing experience in Australia by making friends with local people. Therefore, I started couchsurfing as I want to meet interesting people who I can learn authentic culture from and experience something new together!
