You're a real traveler and you're looking for an unconventional experience with a genuine CSer like me...here's HOW TO WRITE ME A COUCH REQUEST:
1) READ THROUGH MY "My home" SECTION, make sure you're ready for a fun, unusual experience - if you're not, just ask me to meet you for a drink!
2) Write me what makes you intriguing and sets you apart from the other dozens of CSers that are requesting at the same time.
3) Tell me what you're looking forward to doing together. You can use my suggestions (I have a list in my home section) and/or yours.
4) Do NOT include copy&pasted info about your trip, where you are going next, etc...I don't choose who to host based on that. Same for your description, only write the things about you that you find relevant after reading my profile, for the rest there is your profile!
5) Get ready to have an awesome time with me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it used to be a cool place and I don't want to accept that it's dead.
And because it's still full of kick-ass people ready to do something memorable together. If you're one of them, no matter where in the world you are, write me a message now!
I don't smoke, I don't take drugs and I usually don't watch television. I like to make plans and I love to break them, anyway plans are made to be broken so it's not my fault, I can't go against their essence!
I like everything that can make me feel a close contact with nature.
Whether it is a total mind and body immersion into a fully natural and unspoiled landscape, or a spontaneous and textile-free rejoining with the four elements in a small oasis taken away from urbanization, or whatever you think it reminds you that you are part of the universe, I'm definitely up for it.
Sports have always played an central role in my life (rugby, tennis, table-tennis, chess) although I now gave up most of them.
I believe in love. But I don't believe in what they say about love.
Many people try to regulate it, to define its limits. They waste their time asking themselves what is love and what is not, and forget to appreciate it in all of its numerous forms.
One thing I usually question is the very common (and strongly induced by society) view of love as if it was a cake. If you share a cake with just one person, you get more than if you share the same cake with more people. In my opinion, feelings are not like cakes, and the more you share them, the more you get. Thus the more you share your love, the more love you have to give.
I believe in God. But I don't believe in what they say about God. So I don't believe in religion, and in everyone who tries to tell you how God should be. Everyone has his own God, and his absolute relationship with it.
I believe in human relationships. But I don't believe in what they say about human relationships. I can't understand why people waste their time asking themselves which is the borderline between "friendship", "intimacy" and so on, trying to classify each relationship in one of these categories, striving to simplify their feelings without appreciating their beautiful complexity.
