My name's Danny, and I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs but now live in a little town in Kentucky. I haven't traveled as much as I would like to but hopefully that will change after I graduate nursing school. I'm studying nursing because I want to work as a travel nurse, moving from city to city filling temporary needs and meeting new people. I'm graduating in two months and I hope to land a job in pediatrics!

I'm always interested in new places, cultures, languages, and people! Some other interests are live music, tree climbing, futbol, Latin American culture, disc golf, cooking, local beer, medicine, world history, exploring, camping, sailing and hiking. I sing (poorly) and I play a variety of musical instruments, some better than others. I like cats and dogs but don't have any dogs because I want a yard.

I listen to pretty much anything!

My favorite music is the blues or anything bluesy. Some favorites are Muse, Eric Clapton, Clutch, DMB, Alter Bridge, Zeppelin, Monster Truck, Black Stone Cherry, Joe Bonamassa, Between the Buried and Me, Greta Van Fleet, August Burns Red, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Vulfpeck, Nelly, John Lee Hooker, BB King, The Parlor Mob, Keb' Mo', Bacilos, Shakira, Maná.

Books: I really enjoy nonfiction more than anything, I like learning about a variety of topics such as history, economics, health, biographies, cultures, music, and food.

Movies: I don't watch a lot of movies or TV but I'm open to anything but scary films. I like The Prestige and It's a Wonderful Life. And Scrubs.

Definitely seeing my friend Andrew get stung in the hamstring by a big stingray right before my eyes in the Sea of Cortez near La Paz, BCS. He wasn't too happy with the situation but I'll never forget it.
