#Saving the past, serving the future#,this is my business mission statement. I metal detect (under licence) spoil heaps during archaeological excavations for artefacts, coins, jewellery and other items of historical importance which would otherwise be lost, possibly forever.

Oh i love the irish country side, so much nature and diversity.
The irish landscape is also alive with ancient monuments spanning thousands of years, They are a constant reminder of our mystic past.
I could spend hours admiring, drawing,photographing the old ruins and stone work..
I love to capture and share some of these majestic glimpses of our past through photography,and art.

In Kilkenny we have a great subtitle film festival, along with lots of other festivals..

Any time i head to the west of ireland, whether south cork or north donegal, and Dingle of course ;-).. ,
Once swam with a wild dolphin near Fanore co. Clare.Quite an experience also the sun setting in the vast Atlantic ocean, is always a special moment...
Hitchhiking around Majorca once i took shelter from the midday sun under an ancient stone gatehouse,in valdemossa, over looking a lush green valley.
Then Chopins rain drops in pollensa been played beautifully came floating from a window to my side.. ahh that was great.
It's great to be able to say that my metal detecting job has given me many memorable moments, such as finding
A silver Roman denarius coin of Antoninus Pius 161ad, during excavations in Saint Mary's church Kilkenny, why special, because the Romans never made it (conquered ) Ireland. If that coin could only talk!
