ABOUT ME

I love to adventure! An adventure, however, is what you make it, so I enjoy traveling abroad and running around countries I'm unfamiliar with, trying foods I don't understand, or doing fun things in my own backyard. I think the best way to live one's life is to create beautiful memories and relationships throughout it. That is how to be successful.

PHILOSOPHY

Tattooed on my wrist is "This, too, shall pass."
To me that means enjoy the good times because you don't know how long they'll last, and be hopeful that the bad times will pass shortly. I love juxtapositions, paradoxes, and life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you ever end up in Colorado Springs I'd let you crash on the couch and I'd show you around town, but right now I'm living on couches myself. Once I grow up to be a real person, I'll let you know!

Interests

I like to spend my time helping people and having fun. I spend my time smiling with my friends, running around mountains and riding my motorcycle during the sunrise. Materials fade, but memories last forever.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Ayn Rand because she teaches us to follow our own paths, but I like Mitch Albom because he shows us to live for love and other people. Again, the juxtapositions are magical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the moments that leave me awestruck usually involve nature. Standing on the top of the highest peak in Colorado at sunrise, watching the sun creep above the horizon in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, or cuddling up near some rocks on the top of Table Mountain in South Africa for sunrise, after hiking up by myself at 3AM, make me happy to be alive.
