Interests

My two passions in life are martial arts and heavy metal music. I have done Taekwondo for 3 years, Muay Thai and MMA for 7 years and have taught Kyokushin Karate for a summer gig. I enjoy traveling, learning about new cultures and languages, meeting people from other countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One was when I was attending a concert for a Japanese power metal band named Galneryus. This was one of my favorite bands and I was at the original singer's last show with the band. The band would throw a drum lid that had the signatures of all of the band members and I was the one who caught it. Being a huge fan of the band, I felt as though I was holding something holy in my hands.

The other moment was when I received my black belt in Taekwondo. I would attend Taekwondo class and do 100% in every single class six days a week for one hour except on Saturday, in which I practiced for 2 hours. I put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into my training and that black belt was something I have been working for ever since I started martial arts. It was a long and hard road but getting that black belt is something I will never forget.
