Hello! Let me begin by saying that through my experiences with hosting, it seems that i am not able to enjoy my culture. This includes nudism. Many are not comfortable. If that is the case, AND YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE BEING A PART OFBTHE CULTURE, then I am not your host. Please let me know that you are comfortable experiencing the culture in your request. Then I'll know if you read my profile.

Gosh, about me? Thanks for asking! I put a pic in the archives, so there's a visual. I'm 48 and not ready to grow up. I like to meet others, visit, show them around. Simply, it makes me happy to see others happy. It's the Karma thing I guess :). I'm comfortable with my surroundings and am happy to accept any culture or way of life. That's the cool thing about here....meeting people and how they live. I'm an honest person, so if you are coming here to "act unlike yourself" then you wouldn't enjoy here....it's a place to live how you would...just in VEGAS!! Mi casa es su casa! HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am hosting. I'm a big believer in pating it forward. In my 48 years, I've been to England and all over the states. I've been blessed, but I feel I owe myself so much more. I am a giver. So maybe I should think about experiencing others who are givers too! So that's why I'm here....any other questions? I'm an open book. Please let me know how you feel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When starting couchsurfing years ago, I hosted one person, who became my best friend, since I had joined on July 31st of that year. He was AWESOME and I slowly learned how to be a good host. I think through that one experience, I'm totally sold on "couch surfing". I'm a good person on the internet, why would anyone think there aren't others! Never stayed on a couch "as a plan" when traveling, but this will open up new places I've never been. Not family and friends in the states I regularly visit. I want to experience the beyond. Not a star trek reference....just sounded good. lol

Interests

I enjoy singing, karaoke, hosting, surfing, meeting others, trying new foods, traveling, gosh where do I stop. I like to learn and people watch at the mall haha. Every person has their own personality and culture...I think it's amazing! To meet as many different cultures would be my main interest for this site. Otherwise, I'm open to new things. OHHH love camping, swimming, hiking (in cool weather), and seeing things in Vegas I haven't seen!! Also enjoy shows!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? EVERYTHING...I teach Choir! lol...but if ya asked the kids I teach...they would say:

CHRISTINA AGUILERA (the voice on her...and if she would give me the time of day!! lol), WHITNEY HOUSTON (we did a farewell concert in May 2012), and anyone else who can really sing. I'm sorry I'm not a Britney fan...but would love to meet someone who is! Haha

I'm not much of a reader, but try to make myself be a good example for the kiddos.....grrrrrr

Movies...I have Netflix/Prime/Hulu so we can watch any movie! lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to England...London was amazing. I wish it would have been a "couch surfing" situation, but it was an expensively paid trip. Enjoyed nevertheless!! I actually want to add to this question.....I need some amazing things to do or see! Who knows? Gotta room? :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am still learning so much about Vegas. A former person on this site showed me so much. He showed me how to get free tickets for shows. He made me feel comfortable to house a surfer for the first time (and thank goodness, my life is changed for the better!). He actually helped me take him around Downtown and pointed out so many historical facts. So I may be a teacher, but I'm also a student too! Always learning and hoping to spread some knowledge. Vegas has an extremely vivid history given it's age of existence. So much has happened in such a little time. Come and see what it's all about!! I think Couch Surfing is one of if not the best way to learn about other places without having to do it on your own!
