ABOUT ME

Hey! I’m Dany…laid-back, curious, and always up for a good story or a spontaneous detour. I grew up in a diverse town where the world felt like it was already at my doorstep, and that sparked a lifelong love for learning about different cultures and perspectives.

I’m at a stage in my life where I want to shake things up …to break routine, dive into new experiences, and reconnect with that part of myself that thrives on discovery. My dad used to tell me stories about backpacking through Central America when he was young, and I’ve always kept that spirit in the back of my mind. Now feels like the right time to chase it for myself.

Whether I’m traveling solo or with a good friend, I try to approach every new place with openness, respect, and a sense of wonder. I believe some of the best memories come from the people you meet along the way …and Couchsurfing has a way of turning strangers into lifelong friends.
