We are 27 year old travellers and our mission is to do what we love - see the world, experience culture and make new friends from everywhere!

ABOUT US

We are a happy, honest, excitable couple who live in Melbourne, Australia. We have travelled to many countries like Asia, Europe, Canada and the USA. We are outgoing and friendly and love meeting new people and making new friends. We like anything outdoors and always try to do as much as we can so we don't waste any of our amazing experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe we are extremely lucky to be who we are and we plan to never ever take that for granted. We believe that we are given these opportunities and we should take advantage of them in order to meet new people and learn new things so we can gain perspective of the world around us. Through doing this, in the future and even now, we love to help people as much as we can and hope one day to do something that will make a difference to the lives of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While we haven't had the chance to host anyone, it is definitely something we will do when we have our own house. We plan to participate as much as possible as we think it is a great way to meet people and see the countries around the world through the eyes of a local. We are open to meet up just for drinks or to stay and would just love the experience of meeting new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As previously mentioned, we haven't yet had hosted any couch surfing experiences but we look forward to meeting people and expanding our profile and references. We have been hosted a few times in Europe. We are really excited to get on board with this great idea and be apart of the community. All the stories we have read and the profiles we have seen have been really insightful and inspirational and we really can't wait to start our journey as couch surfers!

Interests

Daniel's BIG interest is sport, sport, sport - he will watch and play sport no matter what it is!!

Kelly is interested in reading, listening to music and learning.

We are both interested in lots of other things! We have a big interest in others cultures and experiences and love hearing people stories. We are interested in trying new things like languages, food and experiences! We also looove music and did we mention that we love food?

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies -
All sorts of movies. We love watching films of all different types.
Daniel loves comedies such as Anchorman, Talledega Knights, Superbad, Semi Pro, Zoolander, Dodgeball and anything you can have some fun with and have a laugh.
Cartoons such as anything disney!! (Kelly more so than Daniel)
TV shows such as Scrubs, Friends, Entourage

Music
Lots and lots of different styles and genres! We pretty much settle for anything thats not heavy metal! but if that's your taste then that's totally fine!

Books
Daniel doesn't read very much. Kelly loves to read and wishes she could more.
