Living a healthy and carefree life. Travelling to different countries to see the "Wonders of the World" and collecting tattoos from around the world.

ABOUT ME

Lived several years with numerous rules to follow, now just living life healthy, wild and free. Lots of laughter. I believe I am kindhearted, easygoing, like to help others and believe in "Pay it Forward" to make world a better place. My wife and I live 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto. We have our own home outside of town on a river. We have two teenaged children living with us. We keep the children involved in sports and have a very busy and fun household. We like to entertain people in the summer. We try and travel every winter and love meeting the local people and other travellers.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short so live it the best you can, but in doing so, be kind and respectful to others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted several CS'ers in our home and we have met up with CS'ers in Montreal, China, Vietnam and Costa Rica.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started Couchsurfing in December 2014, where we hosted 3 young ladies from southern France for 3 days/nights. It was an incredible experience. We then went to China in December 2014/January 2015 where we met 3 different CS'ers throughout China. Since then until now we have hosted several CS'ers from around the world and have met up with a few on our annual vacations. The majority of CS meetings have been very rewarding experiences.

兴趣

I like to spend time with my family, the outdoors, do handyman work on my property and helping others. My wife and I are interested in travelling and learning about other cultures. My wife and I love trying different ethnic foods. I work out regularly and like walking with my dog, biking and kayaking.

I like action movies and older rock and roll music. My wife likes documentaries, several different types of music and is an avid reader.

My wife and I are in our mid 50's, we come from different backgrounds and have several life experiences. I look forward to meeting different people in our travels and I want to learn about their cultures and their lifestyles. Given I am retired and operate my own business, I have the freedom to show other CS'ers around if they want depending on what I have on my schedule.

I have been a weekend handyman for over 30 years and opened my own property services business when I retired, so I guess I don't mind fixing things around a home or giving a helping hand, if the job is not too big.
