Overview
About Me
I’m half Jordanian and half Slovenian, born and raised in Jordan where I still live today. As a child, I spent every summer in Slovenia, which gave me the gift of being rooted in two cultures. In recent years, I’ve also enjoyed traveling to new places around the world, always eager to learn and connect with people along the way.
I live a vegan lifestyle and am quite intentional with my diet. I’m endlessly fascinated by people, cultures, and different ways of living. I also love animals, nature, reading, traveling, sports, and spending time outdoors. Yoga is a big part of my life—I practice regularly and sometimes share it with others through teaching.
When I’m hosted, I take pride in being neat, tidy, and respectful of others’ space and privacy. I love meaningful conversations and enjoy connecting with hosts—whether that’s exploring nature together or simply sharing a warm cup of tea if time is short.
Also, I can never resist wandering through local markets—I think they say more about a place than any guidebook!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with people who share a love for meeting others and for sharing the beauty of their culture and country. I believe the best way to truly understand a place is through the eyes and experiences of its people.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite all time movies is "Gorillas in the Mist" and "Out of Africa". The "Green Book" as well, among others.
My favorite reads include " Steve Jobs", "Voices of Jordan", 'Queen of the Desert: The Extraordinary Life of Gertrude Bell", "Alamut", and "Shantaram" to name just a few.
I mostly like all music, but especially instrumentals.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekking in Nepal was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life—surreal landscapes, peaceful trails, and a feeling I’d love to relive again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share what I know about breathing, meditation, and yoga, as well as teach Arabic or English. I’d also love to pass on bits of the two cultures I’m lucky to belong to—Jordanian and Slovenian. In return, I’m always eager to learn about my hosts’ cultures, maybe pick up a few words in their language, and discover anything else they’d like to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d love to share my passion for living a healthy lifestyle—mind, body, and spirit—through my experiences and what I’ve learned along the way. I also enjoy sharing my practice of yoga, meditation, and breathing, and would be happy to explore these together with anyone interested.
