Im a 30 year old female from New Zealand have been backpacking in Europe for the last year and I’m excited to continue exploring and connecting with amazing people in south america!

I'm an outdoors person and live to hike and wild camp.My background is in architecture and urban design so im naturally creative and passionate about the built environment. I am also really passionate about ecology and sustainability and love to grow my own food.

I’m currently planning my South America adventure and couldn’t be more excited to explore the landscapes, immerse myself in the culture, meet locals, and improve my Spanish along the way. I love exchanging stories, learning from others, and experiencing life through the lens of the people I meet :)

I believe the best way to truly experience a place is through its people. The most memorable experiences during my trip have been volunteering opportunities where I’ve met locals and immersed myself in their communities. I believe Couchsurfing offers a fantastic way to continue these genuine interactions, share stories, and create lasting memories.

My hobbies include:

- Hiking and camping: love exploring the outdoors and connecting with nature. Hitchhiking, wandering through wild landscapes, and immersing myself in nature are some of my favorite ways to travel. A huge part of my upcoming journey will be in Patagonia which I'm super excited for!!

- Coffee and Beer: I love a good coffee and discovering new craft beers.

- Reading: I’m a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi. have an endless list of books to read and welcome more recommendations

- Gardening: I love experimenting in the garden and getting my hands dirty

- Board games: Catan, backgammon, any card game.
