Note:
Before sending a request to stay with me, please read my profile carefully. If you’ve read it, please include @DANA in your message to show you’ve understood my profile.
Important Notes:
1. Please read my profile carefully before messaging.
2. I do not accept couples (husband & wife). Solo travelers are welcome!
3. I prefer peaceful guests who respect my space. I cannot tolerate jealousy or excessive drinking, especially after a night out.
You’re a welcome guest here if you respect these points. Feel free to share any thoughts with me!
I’m here on Couchsurfing to meet travel friends from around the world and exchange experiences.

About Me:
Hello! I’m Dana from Erbil. I’m a positive, open-minded person who loves meeting new people and turning them into good friends. I enjoy traveling, exploring different cultures, and sharing stories.
I’ve been to London to improve my English and love connecting with travelers. I’m passionate about photography, and always up for an adventure!
⸻
I can help with food, transportation, and flights but I’m not a bank for loans or advances.
Solo travelers: You’re always welcome here! ❤️❤️✅✅
PHILOSOPHY
Love life, but don’t take it too seriously.
Enjoy the moment because you never know if you’ll be able to enjoy tomorrow!
Share happiness, because life is short—so live it fully. Don’t complain about the world, make it better.
I am a simple person, and I love the simple life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
“Welcoming a stranger as if they’re already a friend.”
I offer my couch when I’m home, my company, time, and local knowledge. I enjoy showing people around and meeting Couchsurfers whenever my schedule allows.
You’ll often find me at all kinds of CS meetups, helping the community in Erbil—and sometimes even beyond—connect, share, and exchange culture.
I love what I do, and I do what I love. Volunteering, for me, comes from passion.
I travel a lot and I’m always on the lookout for amazing people to connect with. I’m constantly dreaming of the next trip… I just rarely know when or where.
Maybe you can inspire me? I love learning from the experiences of fellow human beings.
Interests
Travel, connect, and collect stories.
I love meeting people from all over the world, sharing laughs, learning languages, and tasting good food—especially Arabic (halal!) dishes (I try to cook… no guarantees!).
I’m passionate about the sea, music, dancing, and spontaneous adventures—especially through Couchsurfing!
We may not speak the same language, but I’m fluent in smiles and good vibes.
I believe every person is a story, and every meeting is a memory in the making.
Feel free to send a message—who knows, we might just write the next chapter of adventure together!

Music, Movies, and Books
Arabic and Kurdish Songs .. Books الف ليلة ولية
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
انا شخص بسيط ، واحب حياة البسيطة ..
I’m a simple person who enjoys a simple, peaceful life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Live simple, eat slow, breathe deep, love strong.
Think global, act local. Use less, travel more, stay free.
Why not? Life is short, sometimes dull, sometimes painful—
but every now and then, you get the chance to live something special.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything I can… I’ll share.
I can tell you stories about the places I’ve visited, and share what I know about Kurdish culture.
If you’re interested, I can even teach you some Arabic!
I can also introduce you to my friends, show you around the city, help book your airport transfer, and—if I’m free—pick you up from the bus station and guide you to the main sights.
And if you’re a good person, I’ll offer you something even better: my friendship.
Just tell me what you need, and I’ll do my best to make it happen.
I’m a person of many talents—you might be surprised!
