Hello,

I am new-ish to Couch Surfing. I have yet to host but I have participated in community events in San Francisco recently surfed on my Northern Europe trip. I have lived in San Francisco since 2010 and before that, 22 years in the beautiful forests of New England. While I am a computer programer and data analyst now, I grew up very involved with the outdoors and continue striving to include it in urban adult life:

-YMCA Summer camp participant and counselor for 12 years.

-Volunteered at and also visited many U.S. National Parks

-College cross country and track and field athlete

-I helped start the "Bay Area Wildcats" with a few other friends and family to help organize outdoors adventures throughout Northern California. Anywhere from 4 day backpacking trips to small afternoon beer excursions.

-Ski as much as possible in the winter. Mostly Tahoe, California area.

My favorite way to meet or spend time with people is through activities. Whether it is boardgames (the more complex and strategic the better!!!), lawn games or frisbee in the park, hikes or nature walks, or cooking, I like to bond over something that can be remembered.
